Bridge+Pup Cover Issues: Screwed

Sign in to disble this ad
For Xmas, among my presents were a bridge and p-up cover for my P-Special (P pup, J bridge, not quite vintage style but hey) which my parents had gotten from MF. Only issue is, no screws. I'm planning to install the thumbrest (another Xmas present) this weekend so I was hoping that I could get the covers done too while the strings were off. So I was wondering where I could find screws to fit my bass and covers. I needed new p-up screws anyway (One was stripped) so this just brings it higher on the priority list. Could I find the right size if I just go to Home Depot or somewhere like that?

Covers generally mount with pickguard screws available at most Guitar Centers. You don't have to remove the strings to mount a bridge cover or pickup cover on a P or a J.
