Any reasonable aftermarket bridge will be fully adjustable so that shouldn't be a factor. You should be making the change for sonic reasons. A high mass bridge will bring a slight increase in sustain and a somewhat brighter sound. The changes are subtle. If your bass does not need these tonal changes then a bridge swap is unnecessary. In other words, if it ain't broke...

I agree with testing1two, and getting low action on a bass has a lot more to do with the setup and how level the frets are than what kind of bridge your are using. Of course, if the saddles of the current bridge on your bass will not adjust low enough to bring the strings closer to the frets then the bass probably didn't have the right bridge in the first place.

Having said that, I am a big fan of the Hipshot A-style bridges, check them out if you are still sold on getting a new bridge.

Before you get any bridge, check saddle diameter. Badass/Gotoh use 12mm saddles. For real low action, you might want to change out their saddles for 8mm ones.
