Bridge Replacement?

Sign in to disble this ad
I want to turn my Cort 3535 into a sort of project bass. At the moment it can only be strung through the body, but I want to change that, so I don't have to buy extra long strings (which for some dumb reason they don't even sell in New Zealand).

I don't think a badass will fit - the bridge is quite thin (like along the length of the bass). Can anyone recommend a thin bridge that would be good? Thanks!

are you sure?

If you do that, you will loose some of the sustain and also some upper harmonics on that bass. Are you sure you want this, just to be able to buy some other strings?????
Is this the reason why nobody reacts on this one?
