Bridge replacement on off-brand

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a New York Pro, essentially a cheap spector, and wanted to put on a new bridge. it has 5 screw holes, but im not sure if a BA2 or the like would just "Drop in"?

is there a certain distance i need to measure on the bridge to get the proper bridge, or does a 5 hole usually have the same spacing on all basses?

Measure the spacing of the holes and you should be able to match it. If it's a cheap bass, changes are 9 of 10 that they used the existing Fender 5-screw bridge. The BA II is a Fender 5-screw match.
