Bridge Sizes

I am going to be getting a Jazz Bass Fender bridge cover for my Jaguar bass but I am also wanting to get a new bridge. I am also wanting to get a new bridge but most I have seen look too big and bulky to fit under the cover. Is there any good brand of bridge that will fit under that bridge cover? I want to make sure before I make any purchases.

Look into the Hi-Mass bridge Fender/Squier uses on some models.
They are not as bulky as some of the others. The J ashtray should fit over it.

would anything by Hipshot work? I'm wanting something that allows me to adjust the action easily and that is pretty solid.

I have not used or seen up close the hipshot.
Not sure if it'll fit under the cover.

Much love here for the Hipshot Vintage series. Call them and they will give you the exact dimensions.
