Bridge Troubles

ok... heres the scoop... I just started playing the bass in my school (Fender Jazz). The first thing I noticed about it was that the G on it was almost touching the pickups. I quickly realized the problem... the saddle is missing the height adjustment screws.

My question is: what screws are these (size), and where can I find them.

thanks to all

Take the bass to a music store that sells Fender basses. Show someone in the repair department the problem and ask for a replacement screw. It should be cheap and you can do the work yourself.

I don't know what the size or thread used on your Fender is. If you can get the full info on which model Fender Jazz it is and the country it was made in, someone here can help you. You can order these screws mail order from Stewart MacDonald and other parts stores. An internet search will find you some.

I've always used my local music store, where I'm known because of being a regular customer, for simple little bits like this. Most of the time they find something in the parts bin and don't charge me.
