Bridges for 51 p bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey

Just got a new 51 p bassand want to upgrade the bridge with either of the following: Hipshot A Bridge, Badass III and Fender Deluxe bridge. Those are the ones that are readily available over here in the UK.

Has anyone got any photos of their 51 bass with any of these bridges as I don't what it to look too much out of place. I love badass bridges, think they do something to the tone but the III looks really bulky, I can't picture the A style bridge on the bass in my head and unsure if the deluxe bridge will improve the sustain/tone in the same way a badass will, altho it will improve intonation which is ultimately what I want as I'm quite happy with the tone of the bass.

Other option would be a hipshot B style bridge but not sure if they have them available as a 3 hole replacement.

Any help advice would be appreciated to help make a decision!

The bass is strung with roundwounds, the bass has a great piano string tone that I love and is great for rock with stainless steel roundwounds!

apparently the fender string-through body bridges, both the earlier american standard and the american deluxe versions, will fit that bass perfectly.
