building a custom case

im sorry if this is in the wrong category...but anyway...im planning on building a road case to house my head (LittleMark II) and various other cables and what not...does anyone have any suggestions on what to treat the plywood with, or do i just paint it? any other suggestions from experience would also be very helpful...thanks

I used truck bed lining that i got from either meijer or target or some supermarket like that. I first tried the spray on stuff on the head i built and it wasnt what i wanted so i then bought the roll on stuff and it was much better. I dont have the label or brand name but it came in a kit and works REALLY well.

If you need some rack rails, I have 2 pairs with a bunch of rack screws that I can give you CHEAP. I bought them a year ago, and that project has DIED. I was going to list them in the FS section, but didn't think there'd be any interest. I've also got some of those rack isolators... pm me if you're interested
