buzz on different frets and strings, bad fretjob?

Hi, I bought a used ibanez atk bass (made in korea) and when I tried it the action was so high I didn't notice this but after a setup there's buzz on different frets throughout the fretboard. I could raise the strings to the point there's no buzz but it's too high for me do you think it's a bad fretjob? what do you recommend?

Could be. Or not. There really isn't enough information here to give you a good diagnosis. Here is the basic information needed to figure out what the situation is. What is the string height? How much relief does the neck have? Which strings at which frets are a problem? If you don't know how to measure these items refer to the sticky at the top of the page. Post the information here and someone will help you.

Before you set string-height, you should set the relief: ALL BASIC SETUP QUESTIONS ANSWERED HERE

Adjust the truss-rod very slowly and carefully (I prefer no more than 1/4 turn/day), and if the truss-rod feels too tight stop turning!
