buzz on my E string

so i got me a sweet kramer. changed the strings today from some that came on it that were cut wrong (A string didnt even wrap once!)

so now i got it set-up and some nice rotosounds on it.... just my e string buzzes near the bridge alot... its a schaller bridge. set the string to the side of the roller and it sounds ifne but put it wher eit goes and it buzzes but everything seems tight!

lol, any help?

Since by your description it is up near the bridge, I'm going to assume the neck relief is not an issue. That leaves bridge height. Increase your bridge height until you don't get the buzz.

If you can't seem to get it to stop buzzing, then the only thing left is the fret tops.

BUT, since you've been using this bass before the string change, realistically the bridge height is the only other option...

ok, sooo, i tried adjusting the height, no change. but i jammed a heavy guitar pick between the saddle and the top edge of the bridge and all's quiet! lol probably just make a shim here in a few.
