Buzzard's Bass Shop still open?

I've been trying to get in touch with him regarding some work and have been unsuccessful. His email address doesn't seem to work and when I call I get voice mail. Does anyone know anything?

Thanks.

Further confirmation...I sent an email requesting an estimate on a project yesterday that was returned undeliverable. I hear he does fine work, so I hope that he pops up.

Figures.

He has a neck listed that I'm really interested in. I was trying to figure out how to make the money situation work and now this.

(my luck)

First and foremost, I hope there is nothing wrong on his end. I have had an email come back, just today.

Secondly, let's not all jump on the guy too hasty, right? I mean it could be a simple e mail problem or server issue.

I will say I did order a bridge and my card was charged on the 14th. But no bridge has arrived yet. But to me the issue is not so much that I might be out a few pennies, I am more concerned that the guy is alright or family etc.

Anyway, I for one, am not going to jump the gun here. Let's be patient...

I bought a neck from him with no problems. Seemed like a decent guy through the PM's and emails.

I've purchased from Brian before, and had nothing but a good experience. And he has always been prompt and good about answering questions about things.

So here is hoping all is well.....

I placed an order a wiring harness for my P/J through his store about 3 weeks ago. It has been 3 weeks since I ordered and I haven't received it from him yet. He did send an e-mail a couple days later to confirm that he had gotten my money, but I haven't heard from him since then. I have also PMed the owner, as he is member here at TB, and have not gotten a reply yet.

I am trying to remain optimistic, and still hope for a positive outcome, but I am really having my doubts that I'm ever going to get what I ordered. Thankfully, it wasn't a ton of money and there is some recourse available through Paypal if he doesn't come through. But, for now, my advice is buyer beware.

Oh, I have no problems with this. In fact, I check out his sight on your recommendation and it looked good to me. I figure it's just another business struggling with today's economy and wish him the best of luck.

Wow, is this for real? Sounds like some real-life drama if it is. Hope the guy's ok. But for the record, will not be buying anything from him or using his services.

This.

To many people turning on the guy without any information,IMHO.

He was a pretty good contributing member of the community and I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt at least until more information is known.

I sent Brian a money order for a shielding kit a week ago and just got it back and the envelope said (no longer at this address). I hope he is allright and I hope I can take the money order to the bank and cash it ,even though it's made out to him. I am the purchaser so I'll probably be ok. Looks like he has moved.

Two weeks ago I ordered a bridge on the website and got an email later stating that my payment had been credited back to my account.
