Hey guys,
I have a warwick thumb 5, and I just installed rotosound nickels on there (mmm...yummy.) anyway i had the trussrod adjusted because of some buzz on the 6th fret (and a little above too i guess...) after the adjustment was fine for a day...than...back to buzzing...my action is pretty high...is there anyway i could get the buzzing out without raising my action (again!)?
Thanks,
Trev

So, a little buzz is ok. I have a little buzz because it sounds better amplified than without buzz at all and my strings are lower

you could always just adjust it till it doesn't buzz.
doesn't your warwick come with a three ring binder, 30 page manual, tools, and some "Dapper Dan"?

Generally speaking, the string height will change. Or not. Or almost imperceptibly. There is no way to tell until the adjustment is made.

The big question is: Does it buzz through the amp?

The rule is: If it does not buzz through the amp it does not buzz.

If it does buzz through the amp then measure the relief in the neck and the string height, bass and treble sides, at the twelfth fret. If you do not know how to take the measurements just refer to the sticky at the top of the page. Post the information here and someone will guide you through the process. If you choose to have someone else do the work you will be better able to communicate with them.
