The tuners on my Yamaha TRB5II are going a bit cranky, so I want to replace them. I checked with Yamaha, and they said I should buy original Yamaha tuners, but they're $40 each, and I need 5.
But the thing is: the current tuners look an awful lot like Gotoh GB7s. My experience with Yamaha, however, is that everything that you want to replace and isn't Yamaha originally, is just a tiny bit off-size...
Does anyone have experience with GB7s on his/her TRB?
