Can i change just a couple frets? Do they all have to be changed at once, or, can i just put new ones in the first few frets?

Since the first fret is really the worst, can i change it from BELL BRASS to STAINLESS? TO LAST LONGER?

Its a 93 warwick fortress one masterman

The first one has quite a huge gouge, a couple others are just wearing. I like to play hard, fast, often, and btw sometimes smashed too..

But is it ok to just change a few?

Why do you think you need to replace the frets? Chances are you just need a fret crowning or leveling, not a fret replacement. Take it to a tech.

Yes, you can do a partial refret. I'd suggest using the same gauge/material fretwire. I'd also suggest not doing it yourself.

Stainless steel is considered the "best" wearing fret materal.. however, some people hate what it does to their sound.. other folks claim there is NO sonic differance using SS frets.

Part of what makes a Warwick a Warwick is the bell brass frets, IMO.
