Can I get a Houston area Recommendation?

Moving to Houston and need a good shop in the area that can do repairs and setups. Have a Spector I will never part with that needs some fretwork done and a setup. I don't want to hand over to someone without a great rep. Thanks!

Talk to the folks at Rockin Robbin, they can prolly point you in the right direction if they dont do that sort of thing themselves.

Also if you are on the south side, Danny D's Guitar Hacienda in League City is excellent (but not cheap).

Thanks for the aforementioned shops.

Are there any other shops geared more towards bass? The ones mentioned appear to be more guitar and vintage oriented.

I have had Ron to some major work for me in the past, does a nice job, He is one of the repair guys for the GC that is located around the corner from his shop but you can deal with him direct. Here is his website
www.paceguitarrepair.com
Also the is Great Southern Music, I have had them do some minor work and they are also a authorized Spector dealer and I believe they have a website also.

Welcome to Houston, I am originally from upstate myself (Utica area)
peace,
Brian

Welcome to Houston. I'd go w/Ron Pace too. He always backed up 'cause he does such a good job.
