| Can a Kahler trem be set up for nonstandard tunings?

I tune CGDA (in fifths). I'm considering buying a bass with a Kahler trem. Can it be set up properly for that tuning or is this just a bad idea?
I string with d'Addario Chromes and match the gauges so that tension is reasonably even. And no, I don't have a good reason for wanting a trem. Just my love of pointless excess.
