Can you adjust string spacing on BAII yourself?

Sorry if this has been asked/answered before, but I did a search and didnt have any luck...

I have a Geddy Jazz with BAII and I am finding that the wide string spacing is slowing me down on more difficult songs. I am just guessing, but it seems to me that it is at 20mm spacing right now and I would like to adjust that down a bit but dont know if I can or how...does anyone know?

make new grooves in the saddle using a V-file.

if you lack the tools or expertise, don't do it.

Ahhh! Thanks for that. Sorry, I wasnt sure what you meant about creating more grooves. Now I know (because knowledge is power! Da da da daaaaaa)
