Can you buy those strap button extenders Steinberger uses?

I've got an old Steiney copy I'd like to use, but I hate the way the strap button attaches to the body and makes the neck stick way out to where I have to stretch to reach the low notes. Does anyone know if Steinberger sells those strap button extenders they sell on the Synapse basses? That would be perfect. I've checked MusicYo and Ed Roman and the Steinberger site, and haven't seen any mention of whether they sell them or not. So does anyone know for sure?

Strap button Extender

Jimmy,

I just bought one from Musiciansfriend. $30, works like a charm. Here's the link

Thanks for the tip. That's a bit expensive, but it's probably my best bet.

Check out the Steinberger Spirit Megathread. Myself and others have made our own strap hook extenders, pics are posted.

Peace
