Can you help with a high fret please

I'm a noob to this. I bought a new bass and after setting it up to my liking, I have a lot of buzz at the 9th fret on the A and D strings.
There is no buzz on the 8th fret (1 before) or the 10th fret (1 after) and further.

Would I be wrong in assuming the high fret is the 10th?

I would think it is more likely to be an action/truss rod issue. Go to

and try the things he suggests.

I think I have a good starting point.
About the trussrod, the bass came with a completely straight neck. During setup I added a little relief, so that should be ok.

Edit: Joshua, I should have checked that first. With a straight edge over the 9th-11 frets, there is rocking over the 10th fret.
