Can you replace only one fret?

One of my basses has nasty fret buzz at the 13th fret on the G string. It looks like only that side of the fret was leveled too much.

I wonder if it'd be fine to replace only that fret. I just want to know my options before taking it to a luthier.

It can be done, but it is recommended to have it done by a luthier.

I'm having two replaced this week by, as the chokeslam512 advises, a luthier.

Of course, I'll have a luthier do that!

Yep. My buddy had a fret replaced on his 60's Rick guitar. Much recommended over a complete re-fret if you have vintage stuff and want to preserve as much of the value as possible
