Can't get my Squier P-Bass Special's neck relief right

Well, my Squier wasn't exactly expensive and I realise its neck is pretty thin and maybe made out of crappy wood but it still kind of annoys me, whatever I set the truss rod to, I can't seem to get rid of the back bow.
So I was thinking, perhaps it's the strings I'm using? I like and use 045 - 105 standard gauge but maybe this is too much/not enough for the Squier's puny neck? Should I use heavier or lighter strings? Me no good at physics. Or maybe something completely different? Thanks a lot in advance. |
