| Case re-assembly?

I couldn't come up with a better forum to post this in... sorry...
I just bought a used case on eBay that comes from that lineage of cases that companies like Fender and Rickenbacker have been shipping their basses in for a really long time, before the more recent transition to SKB molded cases. It's nice but not at all form fitting and my bass slides around inside, but the wooden shell and upholstery on the exterior are fine, so I'd basically like to tear the guts out and redo it to fit my bass better and be more protective--thinking about eggcrate foam or likewise. Are there any good resources on how I could go about doing this, as a first-time DIYer? |
