I have a Squier Vintage Mod. Jazz Bass and I want to change the stock metal dome knobs to the traditional black Jazz Bass knobs. I just don't know how to do it. Any advice?

I replaced the knobs on mine with traditional jazz ones, just pull out the chrome knobs, they don't have a screw.

The chrome knobs do, the jazz type have a screw (but that should not be a problem)

if you see a set screw, unscrew it first. if you don't, just pull it off.
