Question Changing Out The Pickgaurd?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi

New memeber, I figured this'd be the place to go for all my bass questions, haha.

Well, I just bought my first bass (A Fender Squier), and the guy I bought it from had proken the pickguard, and he's got what looks to be a peice of another pickgaurd under it where it's broken.

How much would it cost to replace the pickguard?

contact WD parts for a vast supply and fairly decent prices $15-$45 depending on what you want. Good Luck.

I can't tell from your pix as it's not detailed enough - but if you have this design:::

--- you will need to have a custom pickguard made.

The Squier basses don't always comply with normal dimen-
sions for some oddball reason - I dunnow why - but the
trench under the PG can be so large to clear the jack and
the pots that a larger PG is required in this low position near
the jack.
