changing saddles on 06 usa jazz

sooo...... instead of buying a badass III and changing the bridge...i wanted to just buy the 70s single groove...or the vintage style threaded saddles and keep the housing as its string thru three screw mounting...as i hate the half grooved saddled and black screws....any thoughts????

i mean they will line up the same even with the original bridge plate????
