Cherry pie smoke smell on bass

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a MIM jazz that has a cherry pipe smoke smell. Originally I thought it was the case. The smell is less now than a year ago. The bass is up for sale but I think people are reluctant to buy it as no one really wants alot of that smell.

Currently I Fabreezed the case, will let it sit outside for a couple of hours, dust it with baking soda, vacume it out and let it air out for a day or two

The bass is just airing out, what would be a good next step for the bass?

Thank you in advance for the valued input.

Haha...Never heard of cherry pie smoke.

From what Ive heard, what youre doing is the right thing, just let it air out, outside if possble.
