chrome pickguard

I have a Squier Black and Chrome P Bass. It does not have the original chrome pickguard. I found the original part number 006-2724-000 but cannot seem to find one for sale. Any hints?

I don't think they sell pickguards like that... maybe try google shopping?

If you contact Fender with a serial number, they may replace it.

Best chance is to contact Squier for the part. If no joy, keep web searching. Final option is to have one custom-made, but it will cost $60 or more.

i found an eBay dealer who has them, but i'm not sure if they're an exact match for the squier-issued pickguard. I've asked a question to the seller on eBay, so I'll let you know the answer when i hear back.

No the ones on eBay are not a Squier match. I had pickguardian.com make me one for one of my Squier P's and it fits like a dream and is thicker like a 3 or 4 ply. Cost was $60.
