Having done a search, I'm fairly sure that this hasn't popped up of late, but I need some advice.
The standard bridge on my Fender P Deluxe is just too flimsy, they keep moving around and the action gets messed up with hard playing. Therefore, I'm in the market for something a bit more solid, with square saddles à la Badass II. But for some reason, the only bridges like this in Europe (that I can find) cost a fortune. So, does anyone know of some big, manly, bridges that come in at a fairly reasonable price?

Here in the UK a Gotoh 201 is about £35 and offers the best value for money IMO. Schallers are about £70 here. I havent seen any stockists of Hipshot stuff in the UK so buying from the US may be the only choice. Buying from the UK should be fairly pain free compared to the US.

Where'd you find that price from?

Where'd you find that price from? | If its the saddles moving you are worried about with the Gotoh, you dont need to. The saddle screws are mounted in slots so its impossible for them to move. Like you, I seem to have the touch which makes saddles fly about, but the Gotoh solved that.
The Schallers I saw for around £70 were on Ebay, bizarrely they dont have any in the UK and Europe any more though! However Thoman have them, cheaper than I said too!

Thanks a lot.
