Cleaning ebonol

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey everybody. I have a collection of vintage(old) Kramers and while changing strings I noticed some spooge on the fretboard and would like to see some cleaning tips for ebonol fretboards. Any advice would be appreciated...Cheers

OOOO steel wool (careful to keep the shards away from the body and pickups - this'll polish up your frets too), and/or lemon oil and elbow grease.

It is impervious to solvents - lighter fluid, naptha, mineral spirits, etc. will work too, but again be careful not to hit the body with it.

Diapers make awesome polishing rags.

Simple Green... I have four guitars with ebonol fretboards and I had no idea it was solvent resistant. I guess if they make bowling balls out of it it's gotta be tough. I love this board. Thanks everybody
