What can I use to clean the pickguard?
I'm just doing a routine cleaning.
I'm changing strings and I want to get a good cleaning of the pickguard, pickup covers and chrome hardware.
For the pickup covers I'm just going to wipe them best I can with a dry cotton cloth.
But I'd like to get the pickguard a bit cleaner.
I already have the Dunlop 65 cleaner/polisher. But I was told I shouldn't use that on the pickguard. Is that true?
Any suggestions what to use on the pickguard?
On the hardware I just typically use a dry cotton cloth and dry Q-Tips for the tight hard to reach spots on the chrome hardware. Is thatr good? or should I being using something else?
