Cleaning the pores in a rosewood Board

Sign in to disble this ad
i have a MIA jazz bass and about a year ago i sanded much of the finish off the back of the neck. However i failed to mask off the fingerboard so in alot of the pores of the rosewood there is the dust from the sanding. I thought it would come out over time and ive used lemon oil on the board to try to get it out but neither worked real well. Its not a big deal more of an annoyance and i was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and has any suggestions.
Thanks
Ben

Compressed air is you best bet. Just blow the dirt out of the pores.
