I got a squier p bass that is gettin ready to turn 10 years old. Over those 10 years its acquired many stickers all over it, and something written on the pick guard in permanent marker.
I want to clean it up, get it looking nice.I'm taking the stickers off whats the best way to get the goo off without harming the paint?
Whats the best way the get the marker off the pick guard without dimming it?
And on the tuners, there kinda foggy. what should I use to get them looking good and clean again?
thanks, |

Try using some really sticky tape and dab at the adhesive from the stickers. And also rub the adhesive off with your fingers, damp rag.

Hey....no more stickers!!

Like I said about the final inspection spray, it makes a nice shine... and it doesn't build up. Use wax too but only if the finish is still in good shape or it could make things look worse. |

Also, don't forget to post before and after pics when you're done with all your cleaning.

And I think it's perfectly safe for poly finishes. Nitro and acrylics are where acetone hurts.
