Cleaning Warwick Thumb Neck-Through

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone can give me advice on cleaning my Thumb.

The bass is used, it's from 2003, and both the body and fingerboard were much darker than they should have been. In fact, the fingerboard was filthy. I managed to scrub the years of grease off the fingerboard with a great amount of fingerboard oil, a dish scrubbing pad, and time. The thing is, I don't know what to do about the body.

I've been using Ken Smith body wax, under the recommendation of a salesman and since there was no Warwick wax, once a month and it seems to moisturize quite well. However, the body still seems far darker than I've seen other bubinga bodies.

What can I do to clean the body?

i don't imagine the fingerboard oil lightened the wood any

It didn't lighten the fingerboard, as the fingerboard is ebony, but it did clean it significantly. The person who owned it prior to myself never heard of cleaning one's fingerboard.
