Clinky frets! Someone help!!!

I play a Musicman Bongo 4 string and it appears 2 be rly clinky and i get loads of fret buzz, at first i thought i was just playin like an ideot but now im convinced its the setup of the bass. Anyone got any setup advice of combat this?!

Sounds like you've got your action set too low.
Since you have a Bongo, adjustments are very easy.

Since you have a MusicMan, I'd contact EB Customer Service, they are extremely helpful. Send them an email or call them on the phone and tell them you're problem. They'll help you fix it.

Try loosening the truss rod first. Loosen it until you get no more buzz.

mine had this problem too and Musicman basses have jumbo fretwire, so seems to be a common problem. You should be able to set the action where you want it when you get the desired neck relief.
