| Concave fretboard?

I donīt think the two pics of the BassLab basses were very helpful for your discussion. Was a bit confusing??!
I havenīt seen any concave fretboards and I donīt think it would be very helpful for playing?!
IMO, the convex form came from instruments like violins and uprights, that had to be played with a bow.
It was just copied for the E-basses!
(Most of our fretboards are flat. Due to the big radiusses used for the fretboards, it doesnīt make any difference for your playing, but having a concave board sounds strange to me........
