Converting to Fretless

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a Spector ReBop 4 that i'm thinking about converting to fretless. I was wondering how much the conversion would cost in a addition to having the fingerboard cleaned and epoxied all by a professional. Who would you guys suggest? A few of my friends say they've done it themselves and had great results but i don't trust myself enough to try and risk losing a good bass. And if it really is that easy to do could anyone point me to a guide?

MODS - I know i have this thread up in like 4 different forums, could you delete those or something? for some reason it won't let me do it myself.

I'd try HG Thor, if I was you.
http://www.woodwiz.com/epoxy/

Remember, with his prices, this is "professionally done", that's what you asked for, good luck.

Being that it's a bolt on, the prices will be better for you though.

Looks as though:
$335: Bolt-on fretted 4 string, neck only.
