Question Copper Foil Tape / EMF Paint

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been wanting to shield the cavity in my American Jazz Deluxe but i can't seem to find any copper foil tape or any sort of shielding material/paint. I have though found aluminum foil tape. I wasn't sure if this would be conductive or at least conductive enough to get rid of any interference. I've tried home depot and local hardware stores and can't seem to find copper foil or EMF paint anywhere. Any alternatives to shileding a bass?

The big plus to copper foil is that solder will adhere to it. Aluminum should probably work about as well electrically, but I'm not so sure you can solder any wires to it.
