Cort Curbow Tuners

Anybody know what a direct replacement would be? Something that I can just order online?

I just got a bass off of ebay and on removing the strings, one of the posts basically just fell off above the split. I guess it had been bent and was hanging on by a thread.

If possible, I'd like to just replace the one rather than getting a set. I don't know if the finish (kind of a brushed nickel) will allow that.

The Cort website doesn't seem to provide a way to ask by email or post.

The Gotoh tuners on my Bass Collection look exactly like the tuners on my Cort Curbow, except the Cort tuners don't say Gotoh on them. Good a place as any to start.

Thanks, Paul.

I have a Bass Collection SB310, but I didn't have it my possession to compare. I said my nephew could use it to decide whether or not he was serious about playing before he got his own bass - he's never gotten his own bass.

Anyway, I've been looking at pictures on parts sites and ebay, and it does look like Gotoh or Grover.

There's also the matter of the dimensions though. I guess I can take it out and measure with a ruler.

I'd contact All Parts - they're good at recommending even when they can't sell.

You may need to go through your local vendor.

Thanks. I'll look up All Parts.

I'm going to scour the Cort site again too. You'd think there has to be some way to ask a question that they can answer at the snap of a finger.
