Crack in horn of Warwick Thumb...

Sign in to disble this ad
So my strap lock (Schaller) came loose on the horn of my warwick, and I was gonna do the ole' toothpick glue trick I've used on my musicman many times (first time needed for the thumb). Well, as I was screwing in I noticed a hairline crack from the hole running with the top edge of the bass about an inch and a half. I am destroyed. The crack is not wide at all; it is around the width of a hair, possibly larger but it is a really small hairline crack. Will this continue to crack? What is the general method for fixing this? I can't stand to see my child sick especially after i ate so many cans of tuna and raman to save up for it. Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated.
