i broke a large chunk out of my headstock on my squier. it cracked off through the hole for the e string but mussed all of the other tuning peg holes. altough it came close. could i just use some wood glue to glue it back on, would that be strong enough? next option would be buy a friends squier that is for sale and use the neck, then i could keep the parts for spares. this was my first bass has many upgrades and has some centimental value to it so a new bass isent realy a choice.

yeah, wood glue works great. use "Tightbond 2", you can get it at miners hardware etc. clamp it up tight, and let it set overnight and your good to go.
