Question Custom 24 fret Jazz neck

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys,
I'm looking to get a custom neck for my jazz bass, but would preferably want 24 frets. I'm confused as to whether or not this is possible, I've heard that the measurments don't add up (toning etc) - any advice?
thanks in advance
(ps I already know about Warmoths extension - I'd want a one piece neck)

Your best bet might be selling the bass you want to mod and buying one of these:

(Fender Jazz Bass 24)

unless you do the Warmoth overhanging fretboard thing or make a significant mod to your Fender Jazz body it won't work.

all the best,
