OK, so this is another "has anyone had experience with" thread.
I'm a guy with very large hands, and thought that Warmoth was the only place to get a super-wide (1-7/8") guitar neck. I just bought an Affinity tele body today for grins and giggles, and thought I might as well search for a wide neck, since I don't really want to have to switch necks between my tele and strat.
I was very surprised to come across
this eBayer. I'm probably going to take the plunge and try one of his tele necks. If it's any good, I'll recommend he try his hand at bass necks. Could be a godsend!
