Hey im looking into adding a bit of individuality to my bass. Im wondering if theres a way to make "tranfers" or some other way to add your own pictures/designs onto your bass. Im looking into this as i do tribal designs and i think one of them would look sooo good on my bass lol

If you have a pickguard, you could replace it with a transparent one with your own graphics sandwiched between the pick guard and body. At least you could undo the change if you get tired of it or don't like the way it turned out.

I've never done it but it seems like it would work.

design

Something i always loved doing... You can draw a design and if possible upload a picture of your bass onto photoshop, and then upload the design onto it and place it where you want it... Then send that along with a full size of the design to a custom guitar paint shop and they'll take care of the rest... = )

Ok, how about a custom pickgaurd using leather? either an arty dyed on graphic or an embossed design with the high and/or low parts highlighted. You could put it on with spray adhesive and just peel it off to undo the mod. If you decide that you like it, maybe a more permanent installion.

Maybe a matching headstock veneer of leather.

Most hobby shops carry leather.

It would definitely be unique. At least I've never seen it done.
