D string is all dead?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an 08 fender american Jazz and recently I noticed the D-string is much quieter than all the rest. What could be the cause?
I'm thinking it might be something electronic?
think the lifetime warranty will help me with this?

Was it always quieter? Every note on the string?

It is not unusual at all to get a bum string. Perhaps a new set of strings is worth a try...
