Has anyone put a Hipshot (or other) detuner on a Yamaha Bass? I am interested to know how extensive a mod this is for a 1983 BB1200. Can the original bushing be left in or does it have to be reamed out? Their M-4 model looks close, but it is not clear that this is a direct replacement. I would rather not do something that is not reversible. Thanks in advance for your help. |
