hokay

I have a Dano '63 reissue, and even though the bridges have been greatly improved, the new ones are still kinda wonky- adjusting the intonation and action is a pain in the rear (Danos aren't exactly user-friendly)
Any aftermarket bridges that may work? I understand I probably won't find a drop-in replacement- any suggestions for getting a bridge on there?

Short answer is no. Personally I like the original bridges (wooden saddle) and think they are an important part of the Dano sound.

I seem to recall that they have an intonatable drop-in replacement.

Stay with the original. It has a lot to do with the unmistakeable Dano sound. If you don't care, the Dano reissues later had an intonation adjustable bridge that you might be able to find. But the sound will change. Keep the bass stock.

no, the bridge I have is the intonable one. It's just hard to adjust the intonation- the screw to do so is directly under the string, and action is really hard to adjust also.

Then you'll have to check all the aftermarket bridges out there and see what might work. Go to the Stewart McDonald catalogue, to the WD catalogue and the websites of various companies and check dimensions. You'll eventually come up with something. The odds that someone here has found an exact perfect fit for the Danelectro is slim. But maybe someone has and is right now reading this and composing an answer which will prove me wrong.
