Day old Ibanez BTB bad fret buzz

My Ibanez BTB775PB-CN has severe fret buzz in the 3rd & 10th fret G string and 6th fret A string. Ive not touched the truss rod or anything - this is how it came! The rest of the frets are fine its just those seemingly random frets. Ill just send it back if necessary - but if anyone has any diagnoses of what this could be that would be great - and BTW yes I do play close to the fret!

Have. It. Professionally. Set. Up.

For short money, it'll be like having a whole different (better) bass.

Good luck!

Or, read the stickies at the top of this formum, and learn how to adjust the truss rod yourself. The bass came with tools in the little bag; what do you suppose those are for?

That being said, Ibanez is well known for shipping basses with ridiculously low action. And it was shipped to you from someplace with a different climate, so the neck may have developed a backbow. Completely normal, you just have to do a set-up.

Apologies in advance, but Ibanez guitars usually arrive at the dealer with near perfect set ups, albeit tuned down roughly a half step. It is rare for there to be a problem from the factory. When there is, the guitar will make a U turn right back out the door because Hoshino USA sends a call tag immediately upon request. If there is a problem with relief due to humidity control it is almost always on the dealer end.

There really isn't enough information in the original post to diagnose the problem. If the OP could measure the relief at the seventh fret and the string height at the twelfth fret, bass and treble sides and post it here it will aid in rendering advice.

Respectfully submitted.
