De-Fretting my Bass

i like how the thread starter didnt even stay in to read everybody elses arguments.. lol

i just defreted my p-bass... jsut because i wanted to... it wasnt going to get sold for more then $30... so it was worth a nights project...

im not too worried about the asthetics.. im just jamming at home..

and the dots on the neck dont bother me.. i prefer them where they are... its wher eim used too..

and sometimes im looking at the inlays rather then the neck so they help me too...

i cant wait to put the neck back on and fiddle around

an interesting idea i read about is where some dude defretted his neck but only from the 13th fret down. that way the bass is still very usable for most rock, but you still have some room to noodle around in.

I de-fretted my Douglas bass this past weekend & it came out great!
Defretted my 6-string...how I did it.
