Dean edge frettless truss nut

The truss nut on my buddies dean edge is stripped! i think i can figure a way of getting it out.. but once i do where can i find a replacement? are all truss nuts the same size / thread? it looks like a bullet style nut from the top.. what say you o wise talk bassers?

Not all truss nuts are created equal. There are many different kinds.

If it's a bullet style truss nut you might be able to get a replacement through StewMac.com.

If you're unsure if the StewMac replacement will fit, shoot them an email...they can usually help out with questions like that.

You might also call Dean and see if their truss nuts are the same as Fender bullet truss nuts...those are the ones that StewMac sells I believe.
