Question To defret or not to defret?

Sign in to disble this ad
I currently own a Schecter C4, but my custom fretted bass will be done in two months. My question is: Should I defret the Schecter, sell the schecter and buy a fretless, or keep the schecter and buy a fretless.

Keep it, buy a fretless and use it as a backup!

K thanks guys, any ideas for a good fretless around 400-500, i was thinking an MIJ jazz bass, but it just seems so common. Anything I might not know about?

get a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz fretless...

http://www.bassplayer.com/article/sq...d/Nov-06/23890

Bassplayer magazine gave it rave reviews considering it's price... and it's within your price band for a new bass... you should be able to pick it up for less as $465 is the list price.
